10 Boston Wedding VenuesYou Don’t Want To Miss

Wedding Planning Tips | Boston Wedding DJ

If you’re looking to get married in the Boston area you know that there are a lot of venues to choose from. It can quickly get overwhelming to scroll through pages and pages on a directory list. Thankfully, we’ve spent a bit of time DJing at different venues around Boston and have compiled our top 10 list to help you narrow it down.

  1. Metropolitan Waterworks Museum

The Metropolitan Waterworks Museum is by far our favorite venue in the Boston area to work at. If you’re looking for a unique venue that your guests aren’t going to forget, this is the place! With a stunning brick exterior and massive cathedral ceilings, this would be a stunning venue even without the historic artifacts. Add in the steam-powered engines and Titanic-Era details, and you’ve got a space that needs barely any decorations for your big day.

  1. Grove at Briar Barn Inn

The Grove at Briar Barn Inn is the perfect spot for a small, rustic wedding near Boston. With an outdoor ceremony space in the garden, and a 2-story barn for your reception, this venue makes for some stunning wedding photos. Best of all, since the venue itself is both a restaurant and an inn, you’ll save tons of time on planning!

  1. Tower Hill Botanic Garden

A massive fountain, sprawling gardens, and a gorgeous greenhouse make up the Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston. There are so many gems hidden throughout this property, and it’s hard to believe it wasn’t built with weddings in mind. Anyone looking for a springtime wedding while the garden is in bloom or a fall wedding surrounded by the changing trees needs to put this venue on the top of their list.

  1. New England Aquarium

Who wouldn’t want to get married at one of the country’s top Aquariums? Not only is the Aquarium an iconic Boston landmark, but it’s also a stunning wedding venue! They have a variety of spaces for you to choose from, so whether you want full immersion in the exhibits or a pier-side tent, the New England Aquarium can host the wedding of your dreams.

  1. The Tower

This historic building has stood in the heart of Boston since 1887, but recently became a 4-story wedding venue managed by Longwood Venues. With revival gothic architecture and an understated luxurious feel, this is the perfect spot for couples looking for a fairytale wedding. The Tower has a max capacity of over 400 guests, so you can host all of your family and friends at this stunning spot in the middle of downtown.

  1. Boston Park Plaza

If you’re looking for old-school glamour, this venue is a must-see. The Boston Park Plaza has been hosting weddings for almost 100 years, and there’s a reason why it’s stayed in business so long. The stunning grand ballroom is decorated with crystal chandeliers and ornate balconies, and just off the lobby is a grand staircase that’s perfect for photos.

  1. Boston Public Library

Did you know you can have your wedding at a library? Not just any library though; the iconic Boston Public Library, with domed ceilings and a magical outdoor courtyard filled with fountains. Whether you’re a bookworm, or just love this incredibly unique venue, they have a variety of different locations on the property for you to choose from on your special day.

  1. Black Rock Country Club

Who doesn’t love a classic country club wedding? The Black Rock Country Club can host weddings with up to 180 guests and offers a stunning view of their lush green golf course. They have a beautiful bridal suite for getting ready, and a complimentary golf cart to shuttle you around to different photo locations on the property!

  1. Sapphire Estate

The headline on the Sapphire Estate website says, “Quintessential New England Charm” and we couldn’t agree more. This adorable manor house set on a lake sums up everything we love about living in the Northeast. They also provide their own on-site catering, so there’s one less thing for you to worry about.

  1. Hampshire House

Our final venue on the list is a quaint, cozy space; one where you can exchange your vows in front of a fireplace with a few of your closest friends and family. This historic mansion venue is upstairs from an even more recognizable Boston spot – the Cheers bar on Beacon Hill. We definitely recommend this venue for anyone who wants a warm, romantic wedding venue with a splash of pop culture.
