5 Wedding Vendors and How to Plan with Them Virtually

May 4, 2020 | 8 Comments

If you hope to have your wedding in the next few months, you must understand there’s a chance it might not possible, but the keyword here is “might”. It’s also very likely COVID-19 won’t be here to disrupt your plans anymore.

Nonetheless, BEG Event Group is still here for you. You have our support and you’re always in our thoughts, and that’s why we always do our very best to help in any way we can.

Just because you can’t do much about the virus doesn’t mean you can’t do anything about your wedding.  Use this time to ‘virtually’ coordinate and plan with your vendors. Here are a few tips on how to do just that with five vendors that are very important to your wedding.

  • Your Venue Coordinator

Your wedding venue is an essential part of your entire wedding, obviously. In these circumstances, you probably won’t be able to see the venue yourself. But your venue coordinator can help with that by giving you a virtual tour of the venue. You could do this through a live video or they could send you a prerecorded video.

  • Your Hair & Makeup Artist

You won’t be able to do the trials with your hair and makeup artist, but that does not mean you should not reach out to them. Tell them about your ideas; what you hope your hair and makeup would like on your wedding day. Being professionals, they’ll be able to easily come up with some great and valuable inputs.

  • Your Bridal Stylist

If you haven’t ordered your gown and done your fittings already, you’re going to need to work closely with your stylist for this. With your stylist’s assistance, you might even be able to try on your dress from home.

  • Your Photographer

You should have no problems discussing with your photographer over Skype or any other similar telecommunications application. You can go over shots that you want to be taken at your wedding as well as the key players that you want to feature. If you had to postpone your wedding before and now have a new date, do not forget to let your photographer know about the changes.

  • Your Planner & Designer

When you contact your planner, have lots of Pinterest boards ready with ideas of how you want your dream wedding to look. You can also brainstorm ideas and go over plans when you meet with them over Skype or so.

Here at BEG Event Group, we love weddings and would love to make your wedding our priority. We cover events all through the Greater Boston, MA area. Want to know more about us and what we can do for you? Contact us today!
