How Long Has BEG Been Around?

BEG has been around for over a decade! All of our DJ’s have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional DJ and event host, with most having 10+!

Should We Feed the DJ?

This is not required in our agreement and is completely up to you. Typically, the catering director or event coordinator will set aside a meal or boxed dinner for the DJ if requested by the client.

How Many Songs Should I Request?

You can select songs that you would like to hear at your event (as well as songs you don’t want to hear) through our online planning system. The number of songs you request is totally up to you! We do recommend giving your DJ at least 10-15 songs of different artists and genres that you would love to hear, as well as a few songs/artists that you don’t want to hear. Please keep in mind that if you end up requesting a lot of songs, your requests may constraint your event.

Can We Bring Our Own Music For the DJ to Play?

Totally! Working with a professional DJ is a partnership and we’re all for hearing what you love! During the planning process, we’ll ask about music, and this is the time to let us know exactly what you want! Keep in mind that while not impossible, it is more difficult to add songs we don’t have mid-event. So if we get your tracks beforehand, we can make sure they’re ready to rock on the big day.

What Are Your Payment Terms?

All we need to get started from you is your retainer. That retainer holds your event date and is subtracted from the final balance. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event date. We try to make making payments as simple as possible. You’re welcome to use debit, credit, Venmo, or check to make all of your payments. Click here to contact us for more information on pricing.

Do I Tip the DJ?

We do not include gratuity in the final contract price. 15 – 20% is generally recommended if your DJ did a great job, but it is entirely up to you!

When Should I Book My DJ?

We always recommend that is good timeframe is at least six months before the event. This will help ensure that your date is available and give you plenty of time to plan. However, we have DJ’s available for last-minute events as well. Click here to check date availability.
